Mickleham
North Region

Mickleham was established in 1855 when a Wesleyan school opened its doors and in 1871 a public school replaced it. During the 1850s a roadhouse which also operated as a hotel and post office opened. Today the school and the old post office are registered on the National Estate.

32km North of Melbourne’s CBD you’ll find the booming suburb of Mickleham. Mickleham has it all, from nature reserves to popular wedding venues such as Marnong Estate. Previously it was recognised as the name of an arterial road joining the airport to Melbourne’s outer northern suburbs, today it’s a booming suburb.
