Best tip for someone building on a budget?

“For someone building on a budget, my best tip would be to focus on items that cannot be changed after construction.

It is a good idea to have a prioritised list of ‘Needs/Must Haves’ followed by ‘Wants’ to better understand what is most important.”

Our biggest WOW factor

“The Kitchen is the heart of the home for many and often has the biggest WOW factor.

Ensuring your design has ample storage and good natural lighting is the perfect start.

With a stunning benchtop and feature splashback, it will be the biggest talking point when entertaining.

Finishing the space with the right appliances is not only practical, it provides a luxurious finish.”

What’s on trend?

“The next 12 months we see natural stones and timbers heavily trending. With strong representation coming from all over the world, we see the continued use of timber look tiles and terrazzo.

Described as biophilia: connecting nature with interiors. A key element in many Australian interiors.

Warmer, earthier neutrals will also be more present with a focus on terracotta and metallics. Confident tones will rise, showing expression and character.

Curved furnishings, structured objects and black elements will maintain their position in the market”
