We’re sure you have all heard of our Steel & Win competition in collaboration with our partners at Colorbond®. It was advertised virtually everywhere including buses, billboards, social media and radio.

About the Competition

In case you haven’t heard about it, on offer was a massive $30,000 prize!
“Not a bad housewarming gift from Fairhaven Homes and Colorbond®” – said Fifi Box, radio presenter.

All participants had to do was leave a deposit to build with Fairhaven before April 18^th and sign a contract before June 30^th and proceed with their Included roof made from Colorbond® steel.

Fairhaven create quality homes which stand the test of time. That’s why we include a roof made from Colorbond® steel as a standard inclusion with of our builds.

Winner announcement

We were blown away by the response to the Steel & Win competition, with over 60 entries in the running to take the major prize home.
All entries were entered into the generator and one lucky submission was selected as the winner.

Drum roll please…CONGRATULATIONS to the Ordagic family!

One of our fantastic Customer Relationship Officers, Louise, had the privilege of calling the winner.

The phone call starts with Louise asking Armin, “Do you remember the Steel & Win competition you entered with us?”.

Armin quickly responds with a “yep!”

Louise then promptly informs Armin “You actually won the thirty thousand dollars!”

“Are you serious” stated Armin.

A week after the phone call Armin, his wife Marija and their youngest daughter visited the Fairhaven Head Office in Berwick.
Where Louise and the Fairhaven team congratulated them again for their win and presented the $30,000 cheque along with some Colorbond® goodies in the myHaven studio.

The couple are building the Shoreham 425 with the stunning Clydevale façade for their large family of seven in South East Melbourne.
