The Big Fox Road Trip

When we heard whisperings about the biggest thing Fifi, Fev and Nick has ever done, we couldn’t wait to jump on board.

Recently Fairhaven proudly partnered with our Fox FM family to take the Big Fox, Frankie, on a three-day road trip.

Before this could happen, a test for Frankie’s tour to see if she could endure the three-day journey around Melbourne and Victoria. To see if she could pass under the infamous Montague Street Bridge.

The suspense was killing everyone… but to everyone’s relief she passed under the bridge!

Day one: Dromana to Rye

First stop on the tour Frankie, Fifi, Fev and Nick visited Dromana Primary School. The kids had flocked to the school gates eagerly waiting the big arrival.

“Do you think it’s impressive?” – Fifi Box

“YES!” – shouted the school kids

Next the crew reached destination two the Rye Pier where loyal listeners and feathered creatures lined up to have their photo opportunity.

Day two: Rye to Healesville

Test two – who’s bigger? Big Fox vs Big Watermelon

“Frankie our Big Fox I think… is bigger than the Big Watermelon!” – Fifi Box

“I think we’re winning the war, the race!” – Fifi concluded.

Next stop on the tour was the Cherry Tree Retirement Village where retirees gathered for their meet and greet.

“We love the Big Fox” – exclaimed the retirees.

Test three – who’s bigger? Big Fox vs Big Brussel Sprout and the winner is… The Big Fox! Two out of two so far in the who’s bigger competition.

The final stop for day two was at the Big 4 Holiday Park in Healesville.

Day three: Healesville to Mount Duneed

Test four – who’s bigger? Big Fox vs Big Dog. Unfortunately, Frankie was no match for the Big Dog in Fairfield.

The highlight of the Big Fox Road trip was of course, visiting the Fairhaven Homes displays at Armstrong estate, Mount Duneed. Our first sunny day in a while and a lovely crowd of people who came out to see The Big Fox!

On display our two single storey designs including the Brooklyn 278 featuring five Bedrooms, two Bathrooms, two Living rooms. The Clovelly 225 features four Bedrooms, two Bathrooms, two Living rooms.

What did Fifi, Fev, and Nick think of the displays you ask? We have the answers.

Nick loved the Brooklyn’s nursery “Because of the little bed gives me more room to do karate and cool dance moves.”

Fev was impressed by the Ensuite in the Brooklyn “The floor to ceiling tiles, the concrete look and wash, it looks amazing.”

Fifi walked into the Clovelly and said, “Look at the Terrazzo tiles, this whole coastal look I love.”

Thank you!

We want to thank everyone who visited the Big Fox on the Big Fox Road Trip and to our wonderful partners Fox FM and Fifi, Fev and Nick.
