HomeBuilder Grant extended

Great news for anyone looking to build or renovate – the Federal Government’s popular HomeBuilder grant has been extended!

Eligible participants may receive a grant of $15,000; a significant contribution to any new build or renovation. For those embarking on a new build in Victoria, the price cap to be eligible for the grant is $850,000.

Additional eligibility requirements for new builds:

  • Contracts must be signed between 1 January and 31 March 2021 (inclusive)
  • Construction must commence within six months of the contract being signed
  • Applications must be submitted to the relevant State Revenue Office by 14 April 2021
  • Where an eligible contract is signed on or after 29 November 2020, the builder or developer must have a valid license or registration before 29 November 2020

There are many advantages of engaging an experienced, reputable builder with the size, strength, and track record to ensure you get your dream home without any price surprises. As your builder must meet license or registration requirements to enable you to receive the grant, it’s even more important you choose a builder you can trust.
