When it comes to building a new home that you will love, your New Home Consultant is your Fairhaven Homes guru. Our New Home Consultants are meticulously trained to ensure they have the knowledge and understanding to support you in making the best decisions for your circumstances, preferences, and budget.
We already shared the top 5 questions our New Home Consultants get asked, but here are a few more that are frequently asked — and they just might be questions you have too.
What features are included as standard?
At Fairhaven Homes we do things a little differently. We include many features as standard that other builders offer as upgrades. For example, we include a Colorbond® steel roof, 6-star energy rating to all orientations, choice of facades, floor coverings throughout, 900mmx900mm tiled shower bases, flyscreens to all openable windows, up to H1 slab design and so much more.
You can even have your New Home Consultant take you through a display home to show you what is included as standard and what is an upgrade so you can see it up close. For any upgrades you’re considering, simply ask for a quote to get a clear idea of what suits your budget.
Does my home come with heating and cooling?
While heating is included with your home, choosing a cooling option for your home such as evaporative or refrigerated cooling is additional.
Speak to your New Home Consultant to find out about our current promotions, as cooling is often incorporated into our special offers.
Does my new home come with a warranty?
Every Fairhaven Home is built to the highest standard and meets industry regulations and is independently certified.
You will also have the peace of mind that comes with having a 6-month service warranty to allow your home to settle once moving in.
Can I knock down my home and build on the land I already have?
You sure can! Our Knock Down Rebuild process makes it straightforward. If you already love where you live but still want to be able to enjoy a stylish, brand-new home, this can be a great approach.
Can I build on a block under 300 sqm?
We have a range of home designs that have been created to suit smaller blocks including those under 300 sqm without sacrificing on style and space. Building a new Fairhaven Home on a block under 300 sqm means your home will be subject to the Small Lot Housing Code, which we have kept in mind in designing our Simplicity range.
Make your home journey a reality with Fairhaven Homes.
